| 摘 要： | 介绍了一种简单易行的车牌识别方法。对于车牌灰度图像进行滤波去噪后先用峰谷法二值化，再用垂直投影法进行分割，最后进行模板匹配，并用特征点匹配对几组易出错的字符进行检查，从而得到车牌号。

| Abstract: | A method which can recognize vehicle plate quickly is discussed. Firstly, the image of vehicle plate must be preproce ssed, and then the image is segmented by the method of vertical projection, fina lly the character of the image is recognized by using matching recognition and c haracteristic dot recognition. By this technique, the vehicle plate can be recog nized more quickly and more correctly. |
