Present Status of Nitro-Compound Fertilizer Industry and its Growth Trend

In connection with the growth of the firm and the train of thought on its future development, a survey is given of the capacity of each enterprise in the nitro-compound fertilizer industry at present and the trend of future development. The current annual capacity of nitro-compound fertilizers is around 3 000 kt, and together with that of plants under construction and planned will exceed 10 000 kt. The trend of market price of these fertilizers is promising, with some in short supply. It is also pointed out that a few problems still exist, such as their safety, poor water solubility, high price for explosion-proof agents and inadequate strength in popularization on the market.
