| Abstract: | English diet idioms are the elite culture of English speaking nations, which convey thek diet cultivation. From Pierce＇s diagrammatic iconicity in his triangle division theory, the form of English diet idioms can be analyzed by quantity iconicity, sequence iconicity and symmetry iconicity. Lots of examples prove that idioms can be divided, and understood by rational analysis. |
