摘    要:基于任意拉格朗日-欧拉(ALE)方法,建立了金属切削的有限元模型,并对金属切削过程进行了三维动态模拟。ALE方法克服了模型中网格大变形问题,准确地模拟了工件材料受刀具挤压后失效、脱离过程,客观地描述了工件材料失效面的产生过程。通过对不同进给量下切削过程的模拟,得到了进给量与刀具主切削力之间的关系。通过与经验公式对比,验证了数值模型、模拟方法的正确性。

Abstract:Based on Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method,a metal cutting FEM model was established. Afterwards,the metal cutting process was dynamically simulated with three dimensional finite element method. ALE method showed promise in overcoming severe mesh distortion,besides,material failure in chip formation process was accurately simulated. The whole failure surface was objectively generated without any predefined separation criteria. The simulation results was verified by comparing the relationship between feed and main cutting force obtained in simulation with empirical equation.
