术语学研究中关于概念的定义问题

概念是术语学理论研究的起点与核心。从术语学的角度来研究“概念”之概念的问题,对于术语学理论的发展与完善有着非同寻常的意义。本文首先从“概念”一词的几种不同的定义谈起,然后着重从作为思想单元的概念,作为知识单元的概念和作为认知单元的概念这三个层面来分析概念的定义属性。文章还描述了概念与术语的关系并且指出了研究的局限性与意义,最后得出了概念定义要“三位一体”属性的结论。

Issues Regarding the Definition of Concept in Terminological Research

Concept is the starting point and the core of the studies in terminological theory. The study of the issues relating to the concept of the Concept from the perspective of terminology is of extraordinarily significance to the development and the perfection of the terminological theory. This paper begins with the introduction of several different definitions regarding the word of "concept", then it focuses on the analysis of the nature of the concept definition from three dimensions, that is, concept as the unit of thought, concept as the unit of knowledge and concept as the unit of cognition. The article also describes the relationship between concept and the term, and points out the limitations as well as the value of the research. Finally, it draws the conclusion of combining "the three units in one"or integrating the triple nature of the concept definition.
