| Abstract: | Such properties as sweet,physiology and food-processing for sucrose were firstly discussed in the paper. The production and marketing status quo of sucrose in the world and the development prospects for sugar industry in China were then analyzed. It was considered that the future for sugar industry is hopefully good in China although the developmental road is by no means smooth. |
