Abstract:According to two typical faults of 64K channel of RCS-931 relay protection, this paper makes detailed analysis and research. It analyzes the relationship of 2M channel and 64K channel between the current differential protection device, PCM and optical communication device. Then, based on channel experiments, combined with the principle of current differential protection, the paper clarifies the cause for channel fault and the protection device defect of 64K channel. This paper puts forward some effective solutions and modification measures for the protection operation and management of 64K channel.
