迈向信息化时代的女书保护与传承

女书自从20世纪80年代初由中南民族大学的几位老师重新发现以来,一直存在信息传递的瓶颈。从信息化的角度来讲,首先要有能够在计算机中显示女书字符的女书字库,这是信息化的基础。其次还应有相应的输入法与之配合,使得女书的计算机显示、输入、修改、复制、剪切、粘贴和打印成为可能。以上两步可统称为建立女书信息交换用显示输入应用平台,这一基础性平台将使女书获得通向信息时代的通行证,实现"数字化生存"。这一平台建立好之后,可着手建立一个"中华女书网",与此同时,采用虚拟现实技术对女书中重要的文献以碑林的形式加以固化保护,女书网站和虚拟碑林将从形、音、义、唱等多角度全方位对女书加以推广,并为实物碑林建设打下基础。

Protect and spread abroad of Nu Shu in information era

Since Nu Shu was discovered by several teachers from South-Central University for nationalities in the early 1980s, a boltleneck of information exchange has existed. From the viewpoint of informationization, we first need a character set for Nu Shu, which can be used to represent Nu Shu in microcomputers. This is the foundation of informationization. Then we should design an importing program supporting the character set, which makes it possible to display, input, modify, copy, cut, paste and print Nu Shu using computers. Those two steps are keys to building an applied platform to display and input Nu Shu for the purpose of information exchange. Such a platform will give Nu Shu a passport to the information age and realize the goal of ＂Being digital＂. After that, a website of Nu Shu will be founded named ＂Chinese Nu Shu website＂. At the same time, virtual reality technology will be used to protect the important literature of Nu Shu in the form of virtual steles. The website and the virtual steles can publicize Nil Shu with a broad picture, including its graphemes, pronunciation, meaning, and songs, as well as offering a virtual representation of real stone steles.
