Abstract:To satisfy the increasing demands of anti-conterfeiting for commercial products, a novel designing and generating system for complementary color stereo anti-counterfeiting labels is proposed. The image of real label is captured by a CCD and imported to the computer. The grey scales of pixels in label image are picked up and converted into binocular disparity(corresponding to depth)using Visual C++ programming. A blue-green filtered image(left image)serving as red background and a red-blue filtered image(right image)containing the label information are then generated. The two images are finally overlaid into one complementary color stereo anti-counterfeiting label, which can be observed using a pair of red-green glasses. With this method, we designed and made some typical anti-counterfeiting labels, showing satisfactory and vivid label effect. The system and software provide technical foundation for practical applications.
