Abstract: | For a sample of 446 Air Force officers who had taken the ACE Psychological Exam, Q-L difference scores were related to rating (flying or ground), assignment (regular or reserve corps), career field, and college major. It was found that pilots tended to have higher Q scores, non-pilots higher L scores; arts and science college majors higher L scores, applied science college majors (engineering and business) higher Q scores. No difference was found in the Q-L patterns of reservists and regular officers. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved) |
