Abstract:The synergistic extraction properties and mechanism of RE(Ⅲ)(RE=La,Pr,Nd,Y,Gd and Dy)with 1,2-bis(1'-phenyl-3'-methyl-5'-pyrazolone-4'-yl)ethanedione-[1,2](H2A)and tributyl phosphate(TOPO)have been studied in nitric acid solution at 30±1℃.The results show that there is a notable synergistic effect on La3+ for H2A+TOPO system,and the synergistic extraction coefficient of La3+ is calculated to be 4.4.By investigating the influence of concentrations of H2A and TOPO on the extraction of La3+,the composition of the extracted compound is determined as LaA*HA*TOPO. The half extraction pH1/2 values of La3+,Pr3+,Nd3+,Y 3+,Gd3+and Dy3+are 3.65,3.05,2.78,2.63,2.46 and 2.36,res pectively.Meanwhile,the extraction equilibrium constants,enthalpy change and ent ropy change of the reaction are also calculated.
