能源化工是一个国家国民经济发展的基础。我国能源资源量中煤炭占90％，煤炭占一次能源产用量的约70％。分析了我国发展煤化工的基本方针政策和发展方向。阐述了我国能源生态现代化战略和人口资源环境可持续发展战略。指出煤炭与气体烃转化成液态甲醇替代石油能源化工的发展道路，将产生一场工程技术革命，成为保障我国能源、环境、粮食安全的必由之路，提出了发展具有中国特色的现代化能源化工的战略建议。

Recommendations on China's Modern Energy and Chemical Strategy

The energy and chemical industry is the mainstay of an economy.Coal represents 90% of China＇s energy mix and around 70% of the country＇s primary energy consumption.This article studies China＇s coal chemical development policies and trends and describes China＇s modern energy development strategy and sustainable population,resource and environment development strategy.The article points out that converting coal or gaseous hydrocarbon to liquid methanol as an alternative to petroleum-derived fuel and chemicals would trigger off an engineering and technological revolution and is the road China must take to guarantee its energy,environment and food security.The article also puts forth some recommendations on China＇s modern energy and chemical strategy.
