光子晶体在Si基发光器件中的应用

摘    要:在Si基集成光电子学的发展中,实现高效的Si基光源始终是人们期待的目标.但是Si材料的间接带隙特性导致其发光效率低.目前,已经探索了多种Si基材料体系以提高Si材料的发光效率,但是尚未取得突破性的进展.近年来,光子晶体以其独特的控光能力而备受人们的关注,将光子晶体引入到Si基材料体系中可以显著提高Si基材料的发光效率,这无疑对Si基光电子学的发展起到了重要的贡献.本文简述了利用光子晶体提高Si基材料发光效率的机制,介绍了光子晶体在几种Si基材料中的应用,探索了Si基光子晶体发光器件的潜在应用前景.

Abstract:In the development of silicon-based integrated optoelectronics,high efficient silicon-based light source is always the desired goal,however,the emission efficiency of silicon is very poor due to its indirect bandgap.So far,many silicon-based material systems were explored to improve the efficiency of silicon,but no breakthrough progresses were made.In recent years,much attention was paid to photonic crystals because they can control light randomly.Photonic crystals can be introduced into silicon-based material systems to improve their efficiency and contribute to the development of silicon-based integrated optoelectronics.In this paper,the mechanism of photonic crystal enhancing the efficiency of silicon-based materials is briefly described,the applications of photonic crystal in several silicon-based materials are introduced,and the potential perspective about silicon-based photonic crystal light-emitting devices is given.
