| Abstract: | Abstract A new algorithm is presented to generate the parameters of the Schwarz canonical form. This new algorithm is simpler than the Routh algorithm in evaluating the Schwarz canonical form. The similarity transformation from a state‐space model in the phase‐variable form to that in the Schwarz canonical form is naturally established. |
