| Abstract: | A recently proposed UV correction method is used to reduce group delay ripple in a chirped fibre grating tunable dispersion compensator. In 43 Gbit/s CSRZ system tests, the corrected grating had less than 0.5 dB OSNR penalty over the tunable dispersion range of 270 to 750 ps/nm. |
