| Abstract: | This paper makes research on algal fossil of marine facies, non-marine facies and transitional facies in the northeast of China, on the basis of analysis and identification of large amount of algal fossil in this area. Algal fossil in late-Mesozoic formation are divided into 21 assemblage from top to bottom. The assemblage of marine dinoflagellate fossil shows that at least 5 large scale transgressive events happened in Mesozoic era. |
