| Abstract: | New fibers, while bring new chance for developing new textile products, also poses new challenges to dyeing and finishing processes. The article gives an overview of the essential properties of some new fibers such as PLA fiber, PTT fiber, lyocell fiber, polyurethane fiber, soybean protein fiber, chitin fiber and bamboo fiber, and the characteristics of respective dyeing and finishing processes. |
