Various connection types from nozzles on equipment to piping were briefly introduced in this article.With the analysis for various problems appeared in practical engineering,several national and international standards relevant to these connections were compared.Then,it was pointed out in the article which standards can be interchanged so as to help engineers avoid the problems in connection.From the analysis,the importance of standards in design was emphasized.
