Abstract: | Developed and validated the Congregation Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSQ), a set of scales measuring member satisfaction with the church and synagogue. The CSQ was administered to 353 members (mean age 44 yrs) of Protestant and Roman Catholic churches. The scales had high internal consistency reliabilities and adequate test–retest reliability. Significant evidence of convergent validity and moderate evidence of discriminant validity was also demonstrated. The CSQ is appended.
