| Abstract: | H.264 is latest international video coding standard. Its compression efficiency is obviously higher than that of the MPEG-2 standard which emerged in more than 10 years ago. H.264 will be widely applied in the fields of DTV, consuming electronics, personal computers, and video communications. |
