| Abstract: | The optical properties of circular polarization filters made of cholesteric liquid crystal thin films are investigated.The techniques for making the liquid crystal thin films are given.The experimental results show that the liquid crystal thin films can offer new features suitable to large area displays,filters and light valves. |
