| Abstract: | This paper presents a novel method of local affine invariant feature extraction. Several regions are firstly segmented based on certain intensity range in the digital image,and it is proved that the geometry centers of these regions are of affine invariability.Then geometry centers are used as "key points" to extract local affine invariant region(ROI),and finally the MSA(multi-scale autoconvolution) values of these regions are calculated which are used as affine invariant feature.This method shows good performance in stability to the affine transformation,part occlusion,and salt and pepper noise disturbance. |
