| Abstract: | In this chapter, I will mainly deal with the historical background and the natural environment of Chang-DOK-gung palace and the arrangement of the buildings, the landscape architecture, the secret garden, known as piwon behind chang-dok gUng palace. The secret garden, piwon features all kind of styles of landscaping duning the cho-son Period. I hope that this paper serve as a momentum for us to analyze and study the developing progress of the at the end of the two Dynasties betWeen china and Korea. |
