| Abstract: | Wind power stations can cause problems in power quality, especially if they are concentrated in wind parks. This can result in harmonics, flicker and voltage rise. The voltage rise should not exceed 2%. Modern wind generators with self commutated converters enable a control of the reactive power. It is sufficient to install only a few of these modern generators in a wind park to control the problem of voltage rise. |
