| Abstract: | The quality problems concerning sub-standards of cold bending in the hot strip as well as inconformity of flattening in the welded tube occur in melt steel grade 20 in the converter at Chengde Steel Co. Through repeated analsis the primary cause is found to be excess of inclusions and oxygen content in steel. The quality of the steel has been improved by adoption of a series of technical measures. |
