色彩聚类在车牌颜色识别中的研究与应用

彩色图像中的色彩聚类和识别在机器视觉环境中的理解、自动化生产过程的导引、交通标志的自动识别等方面有着非常重要的作用。研究的色彩聚类和识别是“车辆牌照自动识别系统”的一个重要部分——车牌颜色识别。论文提出并实现了一种基于特定色彩空间,利用不同颜色的特征值进行色彩聚类和识别的方法。论文事实依据充分,以大量不同背景和不同光照条件下的彩色车牌作为实验数据进行分析、研究,提出了一种有效的、稳健的色彩聚类和识别的方法。

A Research and Application of Color Clustering in Color Recognition of Vehicle ID

The color clustering and color recognizing for color images play important roles in machine vision, Robert navigation, automation production,automation transportation, intelligence traffic and so on. This paper studies how to cluster and recognize the color and this method is an important part of "the automatic recognition of vehicle id" :color recognizing for vehicle id. The paper presents and completes a solution, which clusters and recognizes the colors using different characters of different colors based on one special color space model. The opinions in the paper are based on many facts, and the research uses a lot of datum, which are found on color vehicle id image taken from different environment and different light. The research shows that the algorithms of color clustering are relatively effective.
