| Abstract: | Electrochemical principles,advantages and shortcomings as well as recent devele pment of the four types of nickel hydroxide electrodes alkaline batteries were described. The making methods and characteristics of the 3 new-type nickel hydroxide electrodes were introduced and the imprepnation methods of active materials and the reaction mechanism of additives such as Co,Zn,Cd and Li were discussed. |
