Abstract:Guangzhou Pumped Storage Power Station with an installed capacity of 2400 MW, is the biggest pumped storage plant in the world at present. Taking a unit in this power plant as an example, introduces the characteristics and difficult points in designing the large motor-generator, emphatically introduces the methods to solve the mechanical and calorific problems.
