大学英语中文学作品不足引发的思考

阅读英美文学在大学英语教学中的重要性是不言而喻的。然而,在目前使用的大学英语教材中英美文学作品却严重不足。怎样才能让有一定英语基础的大学生像英语专业学生那样通过欣赏英美文学作品提升自己的品位和语言能力呢?本课题组在浙江的十所高校中对在读的非英语专业学生进行了广泛调研,并就英美文学纳入大学英语教学的必要性和可行性进行了探讨。

Pondering on the Insufficiency of English and American Literature in College English

It is self-evident that the learning of English and American literature is very important in the course of College English.Nevertheless,the amount of literature works is insufficient in the textbooks.How can the students with a certain English level cultivate their minds and enjoy English as the English major students?The researchers conducted a survey among ten universities in Zhejiang Province and discussed the necessity and feasibility of bringing English and American literature into College English.
