| Abstract: | This paper discusses the experiences of the flood control in the urban areas in ancient China, especially the flood control and drainage works in the dynasties of Tang and Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing. It also summarizes the lessons in this respect for nowadays people to pay attention to. |
