| Abstract: | Background information is presented on the use of theTexaco gasification technology at the EI Dorado Refinery, with emphasison the discussion and sum-up of the experience in the operation with low-value feedstocks at the refinery. Since its startup it has used successfullyvarious low-value feedstocks in its operation, and the quality of the prod-uct syngas and discharge indications are not affected by the feedstocksused, thereby proving the advantage of the Texaco Gasification Process inadaptation to a large range of feedstocks. |
