| Abstract: | We investigated the conditions of tantalum and niobium isolation from the tails of Baddeleyite concentrate by means of sequential sulfation, the leach of a sulfate roast, and hydrolysis. The addition of ammonium sulfate was shown to favor the sulfation step. Perspectives of the extraction isolation of niobium(V) and tantalum(V) by triisoamylphosphate from a fluoride sulfurous solution after the dissolving of the hydrolysis precipitate was also demonstrated. |
