Study on the current situation of coking wastewater and its treatment technology

The coking wastewater which processes by coking and gasification has many malpractices,such as a large emissions and the composition of wastewater is very complex which has a lot of inorganic contaminants like ammonia nitrogen,cyanogens,sulfur cyanogens root.Besides,it also contains heterocyclic and polycyclic aromatic compounds(PAHs) such as phenol,oils,naphthalene,pyridine and anthraquinone,which is very difficult to diminish and it is carcinogenic.It will not only cause serious environmental pollution,but also directly threat the health of human beings,if the wastewater discharges without any processing.This article from the coking wastewater generation,composition,water quality and other aspects of the status quo,existing treatment technology for coking waste water to do a brief analysis,in view of the existing processing technology,put forward new film coking waste water in coking wastewater treatment.
