Abstract: | Volume combustion synthesis of NiAl has been applied to joining oxide ceramics. Combustion synthesized joint was found to contain largely the NiAl phase strongly attached to oxide ceramics via the Alrich zones formed at the boundary between combustion synthesized and intermediate layers. |
