Abstract:Chemical looping gasification (CLG) is a novel solidfuel gasification technology developed based on the chemical looping combustion(CLC). Compared with conventional gasification technology, CLG shows advantagesof saving pure oxygen preparations without requiring complete combustion offuels to provide heat and energy cascade utilization. Moreover, syngas is notdiluted by nitrogen, and the content of pollutants, such as tar and N/S/Cl, isrelatively low. Taking organic solid wastes types, oxygen carriers (OC) typesand reaction devices as examples, the current status of CLG treatment oforganic solid wastes is systematically summarized, the CLG characteristics oforganic solid waste and reaction mechanism is systematic introduced, and itsfuture research directions is prospected.
