Technological Innovation and Digital Transformation Invigorates Operation of International Energy Pipelines

During the 13th Five-year Plan period, CNPC International Pipelines Co. Ltd. fully carried out the new development conception and made high-quality construction and operation of the two main energy pipelines in China’s Northwest and Southwest. The company launched the platform for technological innovation, established the extension and application system, carried out the standards overseas, thus promoting internationalization of the Chinese standards. It also made preparations for informatization, perfected management of data assets, accelerated fostering of digital talents, and continually introduced the new conceptions, new knowledge, new technology and new mindset. Based on perfection of the informatized management system, establishment of the new “big safety” pattern of network and settlement of the production and business bottlenecks on the cloud, the company promoted technological innovation and informatization construction both inside and outside China, invigorating digital transformation for international energy pipelines operation.
