| Abstract: | The cantilever double soldier-piled supporting system was used for a deep excavation in Wangjiang Garden project in East Chengdu City. The subsurface soil consists of expansive cohesive soils. This paper presents an application of this type of supporting system in the deep excavation. The construction monitoring indicates that the cantilever double soldier-piled system can effectively limit the horizontal displacement during the excavation. |
