摘    要:A hot runner injection mould for bottle lids was designed based on CAD/CAE. The top-center of the lid was selected as the gate location. A set of optimal parameters was determined via molding window analysis, i.e., mold temperature 60 ℃, melt temperature 220 ℃, and injection time 0.4 s. The key issues in the design of the hot runner system, the structure and movement principle of sequential demoulding mechanism were introduced in details. The effects of injection pressure and clamp force on the filling quality were examined to improve the design.

Abstract:Development of hot runner injection mold for mineral -water bottle lids was carried out based on CAD/CAE technology in this paper. Moldflow was adopted to analysis the best gate location, molding windows, flow, and the results can be used as reference for the mold design and process parameters setting. The key issues of the design of the hot runner system and the structure and movement principle of t sequential demoulding mechanism were illuminated in details. Practice has proved that the movement of the mold is reliable, productive efficiency is high and the quality of products is stable.
