| Abstract: | The conditions for the preparation of conjugated bile acids by means of N-ethoxycarbonyl-2-ethoxy-1,2-dihydroquinoline are described. Conjugation is obtained in one step via the intermediary formation of mixed carbonic-carboxylic acid anhydrides. |
