摘    要:水上船舶目标检测对于海上安全和渔业资源管理具有重要意义。SAR图像存在相干噪声以及水面背景杂波的复杂性,传统方法对于弱目标检测存在困难。该文基于船舶目标像元的空间相关性和背景杂波在不同尺度小波变换域快速递减的规律,提出了一种利用静态小波变换分量空域和尺度相关运算对原始信号加权的目标检测方法。实验结果表明,该方法可有效地抑制背景杂波,提高对船舶目标的检测能力。

Abstract:Ship target detection in waters makes a significant contribution to marine safety and fishery resources management. Because there is speckle noise in SAR image and the background clutter of water is usually very complex, weak target detection is a big challenge for conventional methods. The paper proposes a new method based on the principle that pixels constituting the same ship target are spatially correlated and background clutter decreases quickly across scales in the wavelet domain. Correlation of the wavelet subbands derived using stationary wavelet transform at the same scale and across scales is calculated, which is used as weight applied to raw image. Experiments prove that the method can effectively suppress background clutter and enhance ship detection results greatly.
