| Abstract: | In this paper major measures are given to reduce neps inside C18.4 tex knitting yarn including: suction system of the blowing-carding unit should meet the regulated negative pressure, speeds of the unit parts should be well matched and the Micronair value as well as fiber count should also be well controlled in cotton matching. All these lead neps inside C18.4 tex knitting yarn to over 25 % level of Uster report. |
