Discussion on segmental construction of over-long prestressed concrete structures

In over-long prestressed concrete structures,such parameters as concrete shrinkage,temperature,creep and axial compression will be important dominating factors for design and construction,early concrete performance leads to complexity for analyzing structural internal forces,structural bearing systems are different and transformative between construction stage and use stage,construction method and post-cast strip setup will affect structural analysis model and economy,and so on."one storey cast-one storey tensioned" and segmental construction were discussed in the paper.
