Abstract: | ABSTRACT Porous TiNb-based alloys have attracted considerable attention in the medical field of orthopedic applications because of excellent biocompatibility, porous architecture, appropriate mechanical property, etc. The literature reviews the current progress of fabrication methods, porous structure, mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, bioactive hydroxyapatite surface modification, in vitro and in vivo biocompatibility of porous TiNb-based alloy. Moreover, future research directions are pointed out to expand its possible biomedical applications. |
