| Abstract: | This paper studies a novel two-dimensional (2-D) encoding scheme to increase the multiplexing capacity of the newly developed digital spatial domain multiplexing technique used for integration of large-scale interferometric fiber-sensor arrays. The feasibility of the scheme is assessed via computer simulation and a preliminary experiment which involved strain measurement at multipositions on a cantilever beam |
