Smith Predictive Control is also called pure lag compensation control。This paper describes application fields and application objects of the Smith prediction control, as well as the basic principle of engineering realization。We further apply the Smith prediction control engineering method to the DCS system of the Beijing HollySys Group , and the results under various disturbances are provided.
