A Review on "Greenfields, Brownfields and Housing Development": The Options of Housing Development in UK Based on Sustainable Development Framework

Sustainable development, as a mainstream concept in economic growth and urban construction, has influenced housing development profoundly. The book, reviewed in the paper, Greenfields, Brownfields and Housing Development, not only analyses reactions of stakeholders, such as housing builders, planners and other groups involving into the process of housing development to changes of policy systems related to urban development and land supply in UK, from a fresh aspect of housing location, but also provides the different thinking and debates on new housing development and urban construction adapted to the principles of sustainable development in UK.
