| Abstract: | The way to starting a large - scale high voltage motor was discussed and the fatalness of direct starting at peak voltage was also analyzed. The principle of a switch - transformer type high voltage soft electrical starter was introduced and the comparison and analysis of features to different kinds of soft starting were done as well in the paper. |
