| Abstract: | Precast slabs are extensively used. As precast slabs are not monolithic vertical bearing components, crevices of slabs often appear in practical work. Not only do the crevices of slabs damage the appearances of the buildings, but they also influence the buildings in their everyday usage. Based on practical engineering experiences, several technical measures are outlined in preventing precast slabs from cracking in the aspects of design and construction. |
