| 摘 要： | 如何克服服务器负载过重造成的瓶颈效应,及如何适应网络的动态变化,是视频会议系统一直面临的问题.提出了一种基于分布式代理的自适应视频会议系统.该系统充分利用当前的网络条件,采用分布式代理,使用应用层组播和IP层组播相结合的混合组播方式,解决了服务器瓶颈问题;采用基于MPEG-4FGS速率修整技术,使系统具有极好的网络自适应性.

| Abstract: | How to reduce the load of the server and how to adapt to varying network conditions are two important problems that the video conferencing system has to resolve.A self-adaptive video conferencing system based on distributed agents is proposed.By employing distributed agents and hybrid multicasting which combines multicasting and unicasting,the load of the server is lightened enormously,by using MPEG-4 FGS based rate shaping,the system is adaptable to varying network conditions. |
