Research Development and Application of New High Performance Polyaryl Ether Ketone Thermoplastic Resin

Polyaryl ether ketone resin is a new high performance thermoplastic polymer, developed abroad in the recent decade. It's excellent properties include its resistance to outstandingly high temperature, its mechanical, electical, flame retarding, chemical resistant and radiation proof and easy processing properties, so its application is extensive and still expanding. In this paper, the development, types and properties of the material are surveye, and it's applications in machinery, automotive, medical, chemical engineering, electronic and electric fields, as well as in spaceflight and aviation, are disscused in some details.
